Compressions Houses are three different sculptures (3D printing, 2015) coming from the animation Time Bomb the Love (1997/98) which is a digital manipulation of rockets to the rhythm of techno music. Frame by frame, the missiles turn into very acid and synthetic-minimalist architectures I titled Compressions-Houses inspired by Newton Cenotaph. Through vertical-horizontal movements, the rockets disappear in straight lines and points, reappearing under the guise of defused bombs because transformed into architectures.

Mattia Casalegno
The GrassRoller is a mechanical device in which a roll of grass moves over the participant’s body. The machine consists of an horizontal platform, an aluminium structure and a 6 feet wooden roller covered with a layer of lawn activated by an hand-crank activated mechanism. The participant lies on the aluminum bench and upon pushing a lever, waits for the roller to slide upon his body. The uncanny experience lasts for about 3 seconds. This Rube Goldberg machine-like contraption plays with irony on the ambiguous relationship between human and his environment: a contraption whose only purpose is to evenly, relentlessly roll green turf over your body. This contraption, so predominant and grand in its scale, evokes fear and a potential of bliss that resemble the legacy of the bachelor machines: from Kafka’s “In The Penal Colony”, via Raymond Roussel, and Duchamp to Tinguely.

Patrick Tresset
Human Study #1, is a performative installation where 5 robots draw a human sitter

Cod.Act (André Décosterd + Michel Décosterd)
πTon is an intriguing sound installation; it constitutes a new stage in the Cod.Act researches on plastic and sound organicity. It results from an experiment on the relation between the distortion of an elastic structure and a real time human voice synthesis.

An international collaboration between U.S. based artist/activist, Joseph DeLappe and Scotland-based artists and game developers, Malath Abbas, Tom Demajo and Albert Elwin of Biome Collective.
Killbox is an online game and interactive installation that critically explores the nature of drone warfare, its complexities and consequences.

Modeled in vr and 3D printed sculptures, virtual reality experience, experimental electronic live music and more ...

Alessandro Giannì
A sculpture dreams of itself. Time is freed from the deception of perception. the passage of time becomes a separate universe, with different rules and some vibrations not visible to human beings.

Rabdomante captures water for reuse and bridges the gap between fantasy and reality. A utopian proposal that could be accomplished. Glaciator is an art installation placed in Antarctica, composed of two robots. Their mission is to help and accelerate the ice formation process on glaciers.

Josè Angelino / Simone Pappalardo
The Josè Angelino and Simone Pappalardo propose a sound installation composed by several elements that recreate a self-organizated system. This system is composed by independent sound installations that interact each other strongly . Each installation modifies its parameters, looking for an unstable and temporary equilibrium point, responding to the solicitations of the other elements and trying to adapt to any perturbations of the enviroinment in which the installation is setting up. This generates a continuously evolving musical form in which different sound generation mechanisms merge, producing a vocabulary of electromechanical timbres in continuous transformation.

Pier Alfeo
Itinerant sound performance based on the assimilation of real-time data from the analysis of the soundscape to the translation into art.

Matteo Nasini
A small set will be set up in the space where a collection of mineral stones will be photographed. Through the acquisition of minerals, the resulting images will be digitally processed and translated into polyphonic frequencies of different duration determined by the arrangement of the stones in space and different lighting conditions.
